About MacMedi
What is MacMedi Health?
MacMedi Health is a health app for India that connects patients, doctors and labs. You can find verified doctors, book a slot, track your live token, pay online, and receive digital prescriptions and lab referrals in one place.
Who makes MacMedi Health?
MacMedi Health is a Macco XE project and a part of Macco XE. Macco XE designs, builds and runs the platform.
When and where is MacMedi available?
MacMedi is starting with a pilot city and will expand city by city. Contact us to bring MacMedi to your clinic or city.
Is there an app?
Android and iOS apps are on the way. Contact us to join the pilot.
Will it work on my phone and internet?
MacMedi is designed for everyday Android phones and patchy mobile connections. If a request doesn't go through, the app tells you clearly and lets you try again.
How is MacMedi different from calling the clinic?
You see open slots, fees and the Verified badge before booking, get a token you can track live, and your prescription and lab reports are saved in one place.
For patients
How does the live token work?
When you book, you get a token number. As the doctor calls patients, your screen updates to show how many people are ahead of you, so you can reach the clinic just in time instead of waiting for hours.
Can I book for my family?
Yes. Add family members under your own MacMedi ID and book for them from the same app.
What if online payment fails?
Your slot is not lost. You can try again, or the doctor can switch your booking to pay at clinic.
Will I be charged twice if I retry a payment?
No. A retried payment is recognised as the same payment, so you are never charged twice.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. You can cancel a booking from the app. If a refund is due, our support team issues it to your original payment method.
Where do I find my prescription after the visit?
In the app, under your history. It appears as soon as the doctor saves it, and stays there for future visits.
For doctors
I am a doctor. How do I join?
Register with your mobile number, upload your registration documents and our team will verify them. Contact us to join the pilot in your city.
Does AI decide the prescription?
No. AI only helps you type faster with dictation and medicine suggestions. You review and save every prescription.
Can I control my schedule and fees?
Yes. You set your timings, slot length, fee and leave days. Patients can only book the slots you open.
What documents do I need to get verified?
Your medical registration certificate, degree certificate and a photo ID. Our team reviews them before your profile shows the Verified badge.
How do I see my earnings?
Every online payment for your bookings and your payout statement are shown in the doctor app.
Privacy & security
Is my health data safe?
Your data is stored in India and encrypted. Doctors see your history only when you allow it. Card and bank details are handled only by our payment partner and never stored by MacMedi.
Does AI see my name or phone number?
No. Names, phone numbers and addresses are removed before any AI request.
Can a lab see my full history?
No. A lab only sees the one referral sent to it.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in India, encrypted while it travels and while it is stored, including backups.
Can I ask for my data to be corrected or deleted?
Yes. Write to us and we will help you see, correct or delete your data, unless we are required by law to keep it.
