We collect only what is needed to book, treat and pay, keep it in India, protect it with encryption, and share it with a doctor only when you say yes. This page explains exactly how.
How we protect you
Six promises built into MacMedi
Your data stays in India
All health data is stored on servers in India, designed around the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
Encrypted everywhere
Data is encrypted while it travels and while it is stored, including backups.
Consent first
A doctor sees your history only with your permission, and you can take it back at any time.
Card details never reach us
Payments happen on our payment partner's secure screen. MacMedi never sees or stores your card or bank details.
AI that never sees who you are
Before any AI suggestion, names, phone numbers and addresses are removed. AI only suggests; the doctor decides.
Every admin action is logged
Staff accounts use two-step sign-in, and every sensitive action is written to an audit log that cannot be edited.

Your rights
Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you clear rights over your personal data. Here is what you can ask of us.

Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
